Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)

The FCA report aims to assess various aspects such as physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional capabilities to determine how these factors may impact the individual's ability to participate in meaningful activities.

During the assessment, our occupational therapist will conduct interviews, observations, and standardised tests to gather information about the individual's strengths, challenges, and goals.

They may also assess factors such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive abilities, self-care skills, and environmental factors that may affect the individual's occupational performance. The results of the assessment are used to develop a personalised intervention plan tailored to address the individual's specific needs and goals.

Jessi's intention is to collaborate with the individual to establish therapy goals and select appropriate strategies and interventions to help improve their overall independence, quality of life, and ability to engage in their desired activities.

At In Bloom we conduct comprehensive NDIS FCAs to assist in participants being able to access the funding they need to feel supported to achieve their goals.
